1: What are they?
Crystals form when bunches of atoms come together to form a uniform cluster, usually in a source of water. The time this process takes can range in time from a few days to thousands of years. When water in the ground consolidates in one place and chills, the pressure and heat of the earth forms crystal structures.
In the early days of radio crystals like quartz were used to help send and receive signals. This is because, due to their form crystals are a perfect energetic structure. When you feel the weight of a crystal in your hand you may also feel the energy of that crystal plainly.
Crystals have a unique structure not just because of what they are made of but because of the vibrations which formed their shapes. Every phone with a rechargeable battery also has lithium, not to mention the variety of other crystals used in our technology for focusing and receiving signals.
Certain crystals are more responsive to different types of energies than others. The structure of a specific crystal caters the energies it stores. This is why you might have heard things about certain crystals, how one crystal might boost confidence, or another helps with focus. In some sense there is a truth to that.
3: How to use them
The energy and structure of a crystal can affect our biology in a fascinating way, causing the release of chemicals in your brain and opening you up to new thought paths and emotions.
. Crystals, like batteries, are capable of storing the energies put into them. Their energies are malleable and are in a constant flux. Crystals can vibrate with the same energy they receive; giving back to you the same emotions you've put into them, this is a process called charging.
Crystals can store negative emotions as well, when you put a negative energy into a crystal it can cleanse that negativity and enliven your mood.
All of this and more is what crystals are capable of, they are alive in a sense and a relationship can be built with their energy. They have a subtle, innate consciousness which informs the organic energies they harness. As you grow and evolve so will the energies of your crystal.
